Craig Murata

Hi, and thank you for visiting my profile page.

My name is Craig Murata. I was born and raised in Greater Vancouver where I grew up mountain biking, skiing and playing soccer. Currently I live with my wife just outside of Vancouver’s downtown core in Burnaby. Having lived in the area most of my life I feel a strong connection to the people in this community.

I am a Chartered Professional Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from Thompson Rivers University.

The majority of my accounting career has been directly focused on providing accounting and tax services to small businesses and individuals. Prior to my accounting career I managed retail businesses where I focused on customer service and learned what it takes to successfully operate small businesses. I also have recent experience as a small business owner and controller. Today I draw on the knowledge from all of these experiences in finding valuable solutions for my clients at Murata Tax & Accounting CPA.

Murata Tax & Accounting CPA was created out of my passion for helping others and providing professional accounting and tax services to individuals and small businesses at reasonable rates.
